Mission Vision acts as an incubator for mission work overseas. Volunteers who feel called to serve internationally, contact Mission Vision to obtain comprehensive training and supply them with all the items they need to serve. We provide equipment, contacts, training, and any other essential resources required to serve those abroad. See some of the many countries we have sent our volunteers to here. Become an international missions partner by donating or providing supplies or become a volunteer and serve abroad those who would otherwise never have the opportunity to receive routine eye care.

Ed Kramer has gone on more than one Mission Vision Trip. He has experienced first-hand the power vision carries and has seen change in his own heart. Serving those in need alongside fellow volunteers can bring a change not only to those whom you serve, but to the very heart of those serving.

From the Dominican Republic to Zimbabwe, need knows no boundaries according to Mission Vision. To that end, the organization provided over 80,900 pairs of glasses to some 46 different international trips in 2017 through 2018. To help facilitate those trips, Mission Vision may be called upon to provide equipment (for example, the autorefractor) and supplies of neutralized glasses.
“Preparing for a clinic,” says Michael, “is really intense. You have to collect hundreds and hundreds of glasses, then clean, neutralize and sort them, and finally pack them in suitcases and cross your fingers that the government doesn’t confiscate them when you arrive.”

You don’t need to travel to another country to serve those in need. Just ask Sandy. She works from home, and with other volunteers, to prepare the much-needed eyeglasses that will be taken out by the missionaries traveling to other countries.
